Estonian Data Portal (ATV)

Estonian Data Portal (ATV) allows user to sync data directly from SelectZero data catalog to ATV with few simple clicks.

Enabling ATV feature

To enable ATV feature, following environment variable needs to be passed to the container:

VARIABLE NAME

ATV_ENABLED

Setting up connection to ATV

When ATV is enabled, new tab can be found under settings called "ATV"

Initially we need to set up credentials to connect with atv

Generating ATV Api key

  1. Log in to ATV portal

  2. Choose your organization

  3. Copy your organization id from URL https://andmed-test.eesti.ee/organization/my-organization/XXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXX

  4. Press "API settings"

  5. Press "Create new key"

  6. Write down the API key and API key ID from the opened prompt (these will be needed later for the integration)

Adding ATV connection to SelectZero

  1. Navigate to "Settings" -> "ATV"

  2. Press "Credentials"

  3. Fill out ATV credentials

    • Service URL - ATV service url, can be used against TEST environment if needed

    • Organisation id - Taken from step 3

    • API key id - Taken from step 6

    • API key secret - Taken from step 6

  4. Press save

Preloading ATV custom fields

  1. Press "Sync custom fields"

  2. Confirm the prompt

  3. ATV custom fields will be loaded with options

NB! In case the connection is poorly set up, this process will fail

Creating an ATV mirroring

Adding new dataset in catalog

  1. Start by navigating into data catalog and creating a new dataset for ATV

  2. Fill ATV custom fields

    • Title EN (ATV) - English title for dataset

    • Theme (ATV) - dataset theme

    • Publisher (ATV) - Publisher of given dataset

    • Description (ATV) - dataset description

    • Description EN (ATV) - dataset description in english

    • Included fields (ATV) - Selected fields to include with dataset columns

  3. Save dataset

  4. Open any object you wish to add to the dataset

  5. Assign it to the created dataset

  6. Under the object open the column you wish to send to ATV

  7. Enable "Publish (ATV)" custom field

    (You can also do mass edits on "Attributes" page)

Syncing dataset with ATV

  1. Navigate to "Settings" -> "ATV"

  2. Press "Create new mirroring"

  3. Fill required data

    • Name - Selected name for the mirroring

    • Mirroring type - ATV object type to send

    • Dataset - Created dataset which columns you wish to send to ATV

  4. Press "Add"

Syncing dataset fields with ATV

  1. Open mirroring object by clicking on the row

  2. Press "Sync"

  3. After sync fields will be available under ATV dataset

  1. Open mirroring object by clicking on the row

  2. You can navigate to dataset by clicking on its id link
